Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your next session.
How do I know which fin box system my board uses?
Futures fins are designed specifically for the Futures fin box system, characterized by a single-screw flange at the rear of the fin. If your board has a different plug style, our fins will not be compatible.
What is the difference between different construction materials?
We offer various constructions including Carbon, Fiberglass, and Honeycomb. Carbon provides a stiff, responsive feel for high-performance surfing, while Honeycomb offers a balanced flex for all-around conditions.
How long does shipping take for domestic orders?
Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the continental US. Express shipping options are available at checkout if you need your fins before a specific swell.
What is your return policy for fins?
We accept returns on unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please note that once a fin has been installed or used in the water, it is no longer eligible for return.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes, we offer a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage caused by impact with reefs, rocks, or other surf equipment.
How do I choose the right size fin for my weight?
Fin sizing is generally categorized as Small (105-155 lbs), Medium (145-195 lbs), and Large (180+ lbs). Choosing the correct size ensures the right amount of hold and maneuverability for your body type.
